The Audition Casting Process

The audition casting process is something that all actors need to know. It starts when you, the actor send your materials, (headshot, resume and cover letter) to a casting director to submit yourself for an audition. Or, it could also start when your agent submits you for an acting audition. The process ends then when some actor is chosen for the job. Many actors think that knowing these steps is all you need to know about starting an acting career. While they are important to know, it is still only a small part of the big picture.
